Taco Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Spanglish Asadero Taco seasoning packet
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup jalapenos, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 cups broccolini, washed and cut into florets
  • 4cups white rice, cooked

Directions
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink and cooked through, approximately 8-12 minutes.
  2. Add Spanglish Asadero Taco seasoning and mix thoroughly.
  3. Remove meat and set aside.
  4. Add 1 tbsp. olive oil to skillet. Once warm, add garlic, onion, jalapeƱos and bell peppers. Cook for 4-6 minutes, or until fragrant and onions are semi translucent.
  5. Add ground beef back into the skillet and mix.
  6. Add the chopped broccoli and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes letting the flavors meld together.
  7. Remove and serve over a bed of white rice. Enjoy!
