Fajita-Style Turkey Breast
Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter, at room temperature
- 4 tablespoons Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- Salt to taste
- Juice of 1 orange
- 1 turkey breast
- Extra Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning (for finishing)
- Aluminum foil
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, add the room-temperature butter.
- Add the Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning, garlic, cumin, pepper, paprika, ginger, and salt.
- Mix everything very well until fully combined.
- Add the orange juice and mix again until the marinade is smooth.
- Take the turkey breast and gently loosen the skin. Spread the mixture under the skin, making sure it’s well coated.
- Then spread the remaining mixture over the top of the skin.
- Sprinkle a little more Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning on top for extra flavor.
- Cover the turkey breast with aluminum foil.
- Bake following turkey package instructions.
If no instructions are on the package, bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes per pound.
