Fajita-Style Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter, at room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1 turkey breast
  • Extra Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning (for finishing)
  • Aluminum foil

Fajita

Directions
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the room-temperature butter.
  2. Add the Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning, garlic, cumin, pepper, paprika, ginger, and salt.
  3. Mix everything very well until fully combined.
  4. Add the orange juice and mix again until the marinade is smooth.
  5. Take the turkey breast and gently loosen the skin. Spread the mixture under the skin, making sure it’s well coated.
  6. Then spread the remaining mixture over the top of the skin.
  7. Sprinkle a little more Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning on top for extra flavor.
  8. Cover the turkey breast with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake following turkey package instructions.
    If no instructions are on the package, bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes per pound.
