Chicken Burrito

Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • 1 chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp of Spanglish Asadero Garlic & Lime seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

For the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 3 tbsp chipotle in adobo
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped pickles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

To assemble:

  • Large flour tortillas
  • Finely chopped lettuce
  • Guacamole
  • Cheese of your choice
  • Extra sauce
  • Optional: French fries on the side

Garlic & Lime

Directions
  1. Season the chicken:
    In a bowl, combine the chicken cubes with paprika, black pepper, garlic and lime seasoning , and salt. Mix very well until all the spices are evenly incorporated.
  2. Cook the chicken:
    Heat a little oil in a pan. Add the chicken and fry for about 25 minutes, or until it becomes slightly golden and fully cooked.
  3. Prepare the sauce:
    In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle, finely chopped pickles, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  4. Assemble the burrito:
    Spread some of the sauce on a flour tortilla. Add chopped lettuce, cooked chicken, guacamole, cheese, and a little more sauce. Roll up the burrito tightly.
  5. Toast:
    Place the burrito on a hot griddle or pan for a few minutes until lightly toasted. Serve with French fries if you like and enjoy!
