Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 (8 oz.) can hot tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning
- 1/4cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Directions
- Rinse rice in a mesh strainer until water runs clear.
NOTE: This helps to remove starch and prevent stickiness. - Heat vegetable oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add rice and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add vegetable stock, tomato sauce, and Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning, and bring to a rapid boil over high heat.
- Stir once, cover, and reduce heat to a low simmer (slightly below medium-low). Cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove cover and let stand for 2-3 minutes before fluffing with a fork and serving.
- Serve topped with a little fresh cilantro and Enjoy!
