Garlic and Lime Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 6 tilapia fillets, cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp Spanglish Asadero Garlic & Lime
  • Drizzle of olive oil


Taco sauce:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 3 canned chipotle peppers
  • 1 tsp Spanglish Asadero Garlic & Lime    
  • Splash of water


To assemble tacos:

  • Warm tortillas
  • Cooked tilapia
  • Shredded white and purple cabbage
  • Chipotle sauce
  • Chopped onion
  • Fresh cilantro

Directions

Fish:

  1. In a bowl, add the tilapia cubes and season with paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Spanglish Asadero Garlic & Lime seasoning, and olive oil.
  2. Mix everything very well until evenly coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the fish for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked.

Taco Sauce:

  1. Add all sauce ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the tacos by adding the fish to the tortillas, top with cabbage, sauce, onion, and cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
