Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 packet Spanglish Asadero Chili con Carne seasoning
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 jalapeño peppers
- 1 serrano pepper
- A small piece of onion
- 1 garlic clove
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup water
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- ⅓ cup green peas

Chili Con Carne
Directions
- In a large skillet, add the ground beef, salt, pepper, chopped garlic, and Chili con Carne seasoning. Mix well, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, blend the tomatoes, jalapeños, serrano pepper, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt and water until smooth.
- After 10 minutes, pour the sauce over the meat and mix to combine.
- Add the diced potatoes, carrot, and peas. Stir well, then add the cilantro sprig.
- Cover and cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the mixture has a saucy consistency.
