Mexican Carne Asada Beef Skewers
Ingredients
- 2 lb ribeye steaks, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada seasoning
- 1 red bell pepper, washed, seeded, cut into 1-inch squares
- 1 green bell pepper, washed, seeded, cut into 1-inch squares
- 1 yellow bell pepper, washed, seeded, cut into 1-inch squares
- 1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch squares
- Tortillas
- 2 limes, cut into wedges (garnish)
- Salsa (garnish)

Carne Asada
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, toss beef cubes with olive oil, lime juice, and Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada seasoning. Marinate 10 minutes.
- Preheat your grill for a high-heat direct heated cooking area (450 degrees) and an indirect heated cooking area (no flame).
- Thread beef, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, red onion onto skewers, alternating. NOTE: If using wooden skewers, soak in water 30 minutes before threading.
- Grill skewers over the direct heat, turning every 3minutes until lightly charred and beef reaches an internal temperature of 125-130 degrees. Remove skewers and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with warm tortillas, salsa, and lime wedges. Enjoy!
