Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1–2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 2–3 cups tomato sauce (your preferred kind)
  • Lasagna noodles (pre-cooked or ready-to-use)
  • 3–4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A drizzle of oil
Carne Asada
Directions
  1. Cook the meat:
    In a large skillet, add a drizzle of oil and cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada Seasoning, garlic, and onion. Mix well, cover, and cook for about 8 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked.
  2. Add the sauce:
    Stir in the tomato sauce of your choice and let it simmer over medium heat for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Layer the lasagna:
    In another pan, spread a layer of meat with sauce, then mozzarella cheese, then lasagna noodles (use according to package directions).
  4. Repeat layers:
    Continue layering three times in the order: meat, cheese, pasta.
  5. Garnish and cook:
    Sprinkle parsley on top, cover, and cook over low heat until the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Serve:
    Serve hot and enjoy!
