Ingredients
For the burger patty:
- 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
- Spanglish Asadero Garlic Salt seasoning, sprinkled to taste
- 1/2 white onion, sliced into strips
- sliced jalapeños, amount to taste
Burger sauce:
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped pickles
- A splash of Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic powder and onion powder
Directions
- Shape ground beef it into small balls. Then, press them down using a tortilla press or anything you have to flatten them.
- Place them on a hot griddle and sprinkle with Spanglish Asadero Garlic Salt to taste.
- Once they start to brown, flip them and cook for just 1 more minute, then remove from the griddle.
- On the same griddle, add onion and sliced jalapeños. Add a little more Spanglish Asadero Garlic Salt seasoning and cook, stirring constantly, until the onion starts to soften. Remove from the griddle.
- Mix all the burger sauce ingredients.
- Place the meat back on the griddle and add yellow cheese. Once melted, it’s time to assemble the burger.
- Spread some sauce on the toasted bun, add the meat (we used three patties), top with the onion and jalapeño mixture, add a little more sauce, cover with the top bun, and it's ready to enjoy!
