Ingredients

  • 3 lbs of beef, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning
  • 3 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 2 celery sticks, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 3 tbsps of tomato paste
  • 3 cups of beef broth
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 6 baby potatoes, cut in half
  • 1/3 cup of peas

Directions
  1. Season beef with garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, salt to taste, Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning, all-purpose flour.
  2. Mix everything very well.
  3. In a separate pan, add olive oil and lightly fry the beef on both sides. Once all the meat is browned, remove it and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add finely chopped white onion, celery sticks, and garlic cloves. Sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add tomato paste, mix well, then pour in the beef broth.
  6. Stir and return the beef to the pan.
  7. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 45 minutes.
  8. Next, add carrots and baby potatoes.
  9. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the carrots and potatoes are mostly tender.
  10. After that, add the peas, cover again, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  11. And it’s ready!You can serve it with mashed potatoes on the side if desired.
