Ingredients
- 3 lbs of beef, cut into small cubes
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning
- 3 tbsps all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup finely chopped white onion
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 3 tbsps of tomato paste
- 3 cups of beef broth
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 6 baby potatoes, cut in half
- 1/3 cup of peas
Directions
- Season beef with garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, salt to taste, Spanglish Asadero All Purpose seasoning, all-purpose flour.
- Mix everything very well.
- In a separate pan, add olive oil and lightly fry the beef on both sides. Once all the meat is browned, remove it and set aside.
- In the same pan, add finely chopped white onion, celery sticks, and garlic cloves. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste, mix well, then pour in the beef broth.
- Stir and return the beef to the pan.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 45 minutes.
- Next, add carrots and baby potatoes.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the carrots and potatoes are mostly tender.
- After that, add the peas, cover again, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- And it’s ready!You can serve it with mashed potatoes on the side if desired.
