Steak & Corn Tacos

Ingredients

🥩 For the steak:

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into small bite-sized pieces
  • 1–2 tablespoons Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • A little oil for cooking

🌽 For the Mexican street corn:

  • 3 corns
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Spanglish Asadero Elote seasoning
  • A handful of fresh cilantro, chopped

🌮 For serving:

  • Flour tortillas

Fajita

Directions
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  2. Add the sirloin steak pieces and season with Spanglish Asadero Fajita seasoning and salt to taste.
  3. Mix well, cover, and cook for approximately 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is fully cooked and tender.
  4. While the steak is cooking, melt the butter in a separate skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the sliced corn and a little salt. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and lightly browned.
  6. Transfer the cooked corn to a bowl.
  7. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, Spanglish Asadero Elote seasoning, and chopped cilantro. Mix well and set aside.
  8. Once the steak is ready, warm the flour tortillas.
  9. Fill each tortilla with steak and top with a spoonful of the street corn mixture.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
