Spicy Pollo Asado Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 packet Spanglish Asadero Pollo Asado seasoning
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp. sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds (garnish)
  • 2 tbsp. green onions, sliced (garnish)
Pollo Asado
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425℉ degrees.
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss wings with olive oil and Spanglish Asadero Pollo Asado seasoning in a mixing bowl, until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange wings on a wire-racked baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165℉ degrees. Remove and set aside until sauce is ready.
    NOTE: Flip wings halfway for even cooking.
  5. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
  7. Add sriracha, soy sauce, and honey. Stir, bring to a slight boil, and then remove from heat.
  8. Toss wings with sauce in a large mixing bowl until coated evenly.
  9. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
